The Regional Corporate Finance team provides advice on all aspects of corporate finance to privately owned and private equity backed clients both on the sell-side and buy-side. There is a significant growth opportunity in the mid-market (£30-100m EV) deal space within the Yorkshire & North East region focused on the private business and regional private equity channels across all sectors.
We’re recruiting for a Manager / Senior Associate to join our regional team based in Leeds. You’ll be working with a highly motivated team of specialist corporate financiers to support our clients from deal origination to execution. What your days will look like:
As a Manager / Senior Associate, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day management of transactions including being responsible for delivery of information memoranda, management presentations, valuation analysis and taking responsibility for preparation of information and client communications.
- Day-to-day management of transactions which includes responsibility as a key contact for clients on a day-to-day basis on transactions
- Valuation work including financial modelling such as DCF analysis
- Participation in client presentations and meetings
- Financial modelling and analysis of transactions
- Preparation and coordination of project deliverables
- Project managing transactions and liaising with multiple parties
- Business development activities including identification and targeting of potential opportunities, and developing a strong personal network of contacts both within the firm and externally.
This role is for you if:
- You have excellent numeracy skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to absorb and analyse data quickly – use of data tools and AI would be advantageous
- Ability to undertake detailed financial / commercial analysis for inclusion in client reports
- Strong written skills with demonstrable experience of producing high quality, tailored documents
- Client focus, with the ability to work quickly and establish effective working relationships with senior stakeholders
- Ability to work with a range of clients from entrepreneurs to private equity funds
- Logical and methodical approach to problem solving
- The self-confidence / appetite to be involved in business development activities
- Ability to develop, coach and motivate other members of the team
