What your days will look like
As a Corporate Tax Compliance Manager, you will leverage your technical tax expertise along with strong client management and leadership skills to deliver high-quality tax compliance services, aligning with the firm\’s overall business objectives.
In this role, you will oversee and manage the delivery of corporate tax compliance services for a diverse portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include ensuring clients meet their tax compliance obligations accurately and on time, managing and mitigating risks associated with tax compliance processes, and understanding clients\’ businesses to tailor tax compliance solutions to their specific needs.
- Client management: Up-front scoping and engagement planning with clients, main point of contact for clients regarding their tax compliance needs. Understand clients\’ businesses and tailor tax compliance solutions to their specific needs and risks.
- Liaising with the Data Management team on the approach to data collection for your clients.
- Review and submission: tax accounting schedules and corporation tax returns.
- Identify opportunities to enhance tax compliance processes through automation and technology.
This role is for you if
- Must possess a tax professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ATT, CTA, ACCA (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country.
- UK corporate tax knowledge including: ability to review UK tax computations and tax accounting, group reporting calculations and disclosures for accuracy, completeness, identify broader opportunities and risks for the client.
- Developed client service ethos and can adopt a flexible approach to meeting client needs.
- Budget management.
- Be able to establish and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
