As a Senior Manager, you will lead large-scale transformation programmes within Defence, working with client leaders to deliver tangible frontline benefits and enable wider enterprise transformation across defence. Specifically, in the Defence sector our remits include organisational transformation, digital enablement, driving productivity and efficiency; and the delivery of new capability.
As part of our growth plans, we are looking to recruit a Enterprise Transformation Senior Manager to work across our Defence, Space and aerospace clients. As a Senior Manager, you'll lead a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex issues using a range of skills and methodologies.
What your days will look like:
- Reporting to the Partner and Director team, you will have responsibility for managing client projects, structuring the work schedule and driving each assignment to a successful conclusion.
- Managing the design and delivery of large-scale Defence transformation programmes, from mobilisation and business case through deployment, go-live and post-implementation optimisation.
- Leading operating model, care pathway and workforce transformation, with a clear focus on improving frontline productivity, safety and user adoption.
- Contributing to the development of the Defence digital transformation market, identifying opportunities, shaping propositions and supporting bids.
- Helping to grow our multi-specialism Enterprise Transformation and Defence teams, developing tools, methods and assets that support successful delivery and adoption at scale.
- Leading engagement economics, governance, risk and issue management, and delivery assurance across complex programmes.
- Owning senior stakeholder relationships across Defence leadership, teams and alliance partners, building trusted advisor relationships.
This role is for you if:
- Experienced transformation leader with experience working with the Ministry of Defence, the Armed Forces, the Aerospace and Defence industry and/or comparable industries.
- Experience scoping and leading large-scale transformation programmes with a strong focus on transformation, optimisation and benefits realisation.
- Excellent client handling skills with experience of leading projects and/or large-scale strategy and operations change programmes.
- You will be already security cleared, or capable of being cleared.
- You have experience of operating model design and implementation, transformation programme management, change and adoption management or large-scale engagements.
- You are comfortable developing requirements across process, people, organisation, technology and data, and articulating how transformation can enable wider Defence productivity and transformation goals.
- Ability to travel to client site across the UK - 60% of time spent on client site.
