About The Role:
We are recruiting a Director to join our Retail, Consumer and Leisure Corporate Finance team, a market-leading group of sector specialists advising on high-profile mid-market transactions. You will play a central role in originating and executing deals, working with entrepreneurs, private equity and corporates across a fast-evolving, dynamic consumer landscape. This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex transactions, shape client outcomes and contribute to the continued growth of a high-performing team. We are looking for an experienced dealmaker with strong commercial judgement, an established network and a track record of delivering successful transactions end-to-end.
What your days will look like:
- Building and maintaining a strong origination pipeline, identifying opportunities and leveraging your network to generate new business
- Leading end-to-end transaction execution, managing timelines, stakeholders and delivery risk
- Applying deep sector insights to shape client strategy and positioning across transactions
- Providing leadership across the team, coaching and developing junior talent, and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture
This role is for you if:
- You have a proven track record of originating M&A transactions, ideally within the Retail, Consumer and Leisure sectors
- You have extensive end-to-end transaction experience, with an ability to execute complex deals with multiple stakeholders
- You have built and maintained senior client relationships across entrepreneurs, private equity and corporates, acting as a trusted adviser
- You lead, develop and inspire high-performing teams, providing clear direction, coaching and structured development to junior colleagues.
