We are recruiting an Associate Director to join our Retail, Consumer and Leisure Corporate Finance team, a market-leading group of sector specialists advising on high-profile mid-market transactions. You will play a key role in executing transactions and supporting origination activity, working with entrepreneurs, private equity and corporates across a fast-evolving consumer landscape.
This is an opportunity to play an important role in complex deal execution, contribute to client outcomes and contribute to the continued growth of a high-performing team. We are looking for an experienced M&A professional with strong commercial judgement and a track record of delivering transactions end-to-end.
What your days will look like:
- Leading day-to-day transaction execution, managing workstreams, timelines and key stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
- Supporting origination activity, contributing to pitch development, client targeting and relationship building
- Applying sector insights to inform client positioning and transaction strategy
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and advisors throughout the deal lifecycle
- Supporting the development of junior team members, providing guidance, oversight and on-the-job coaching
This role is for you if:
- You have strong transaction execution experience, ideally including experience within the Retail, Consumer and Leisure sectors
- You have experience delivering end-to-end M&A transactions, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
- You are commercially aware, proactive and able to contribute to both execution and business development activity
- You demonstrate leadership within deal teams, supporting and developing junior colleagues
