We are seeking a skilled and experienced Rural Surveyor , or a Planning and Development Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent professional, client and administrative skills and have a strong understanding of both local and national planning systems . This role is not just about managing tasks but also contributing significantly as a fee earner for the company. Conduct site and project appraisals. Prepare planning applications and appeals. Manage and coordinate planning projects from inception to completion. Liaise with clients, team members, local authorities and other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and planning policies. Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Contribute to business development and fee-earning activities. Requirements: Proven experience in rural surveying and/or planning and development. Excellent administrative and organizational skills. Strong understanding of local and national planning systems. Ability to manage projects and teams effectively. At least AssocRICS or MRICS qualified. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage others. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
