Top 100 UK law firm looking to recruit an ambitious Insolvency Solicitor of circa 2–6 years PQE to join its highly regarded Insolvency & Corporate Recovery team, likely to be in Manchester or the East Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly-regarded practice with impressive recent financials, which advises insolvency practitioners, directors, lenders, creditors and businesses on complex insolvency, restructuring and recovery matters.
The firm handles a variety of both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters and there is the opportunity for applicants to handle either a mixture of both, or to focus primarily on one side of the insolvency law sector. The work is varied and includes, inter alia:
- Administrations, liquidations and receiverships
- Fraud, wrongful trading and misfeasance claims
- Refinancing, restructuring and business recovery strategies
- Director duties and insolvency-related disputes
- Asset recovery and transactional avoidance claims
The firm also has a track record of providing advice to public sector organisations, which generates an additional flow of high quality instructions into the team.
