My client is a highly-regarded and rapidly growing law firm with a strong presence in East Anglia and the East Midlands, and is looking to recruit a Regulatory lawyer to join its specialist team.
Role Overview
The role can be based out of a number of the firm’s offices. It is best suited to a qualified lawyer with between NQ‑4 years PQE who either has experience within the regulatory field, or who has a criminal law and/or advocacy background and may be looking to move their career towards the regulatory sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Working as part of a highly-regarded regulatory law team handling both contentious and non-contentious matters.
- This is a great opportunity to get involved with matters including, inter alia:
- Health & Safety law
- Environmental law
- Inquest law
- Regulatory investigations and enforcement actions
- Advisory and compliance‑based regulatory work
Qualifications & Skills
- A qualified (or soon to qualify) lawyer with either a keen interest or proven experience within the regulatory field.
- Strong advocacy, advisory, and drafting skills.
Additional Requirements
- Some travel involved in this position and a full UK driving licence is required, as well as access to a car.
- Looking for an opportunity with clear scope for career advancement and to work alongside other recognised experts in this field.
