Are you an experienced Charity Lawyer looking for high quality work as well as a clearly mapped career path for advancement? My client is a highly-regarded and well-established Legal 500 firm with offices across the East Midlands and South East regions. A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced charity lawyer to join its expanding team, working on behalf of a variety of not-for-profit and third sector organisations and advising on a broad range of matters such as:

  • regulatory issues including advising trustees on their duties and responsibilities
  • creation and registration of charities, charity mergers, closures and de-registrations
  • preparation of policies and governance documents
  • working with other teams across the firm to provide the best service to charity clients, as well as supervising less experienced lawyers
  • business development and marketing initiatives

This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious specialist, likely to have accrued 5+ years PQE specifically within the charity law field, who is looking for access to quality matters and to join a firm which is recognised as being a genuinely nice place to work. The firm offers flexible working arrangements so hybrid options are available and this position can be based out of its offices in Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk or the East Midlands.
