My client is a highly thought-of Legal 500 firm which is in an exciting period of expansion, and is seeking to hire an experienced employment partner to spearhead its offering within the Birmingham market.
Working as part of a busy team spread across a number of offices, you will be advising a primarily respondent-focused client base on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters, including:
- Defending a variety of claims, including discrimination claims and wrongful dismissal
- Negotiation of settlement agreements
- Corporate support matters, including TUPE
- Drafting of employment contracts and staff handbooks
- Restructuring and advising on redundancy consultations/processes
- Restrictive covenants and breaches of contract
