Leading international firm seeks non-contentious construction lawyer to join its rapidly expanding team, advising on major UK and international projects. In this newly-created role you’ll be working closely with senior construction lawyers locally and across the country on high-profile projects in the public and private sectors, advising clients including contractors, investors, developers and local government.
The firm is seeking to recruit a solicitor who is keen to specialise in non-contentious construction law matters including:
- Drafting and negotiating a range of construction and engineering contracts, including JCT, NEC, FIDIC and bespoke agreements
- Advising on major development and infrastructure projects from procurement through to completion
- Collaborating with colleagues across real estate and projects teams, nationally and internationally
- Carrying out due diligence
The firm is seeking applications from construction lawyers who have a strong academic track record and who have between 0-18 months PQE, with a genuine interest in non-contentious construction law and a desire to pursue a career within this discipline. Ideally this experience will have been gained within a leading national, international or high calibre regional firm, and you will be looking to join a close-knit team which has undergone an extensive period of growth recently, linked to the success it has enjoyed. For those at NQ level a seat in construction law – ideally with a non-contentious leaning – is a must.
