About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a number of established lift companies across East Sussex, Kent, London, Essex, and Surrey. Due to continued growth, our clients are looking for experienced Lift Engineers to join their service, repair, maintenance, and modernisation teams.
Whether you are a Service Engineer, Repair Engineer, Call-Out Engineer, or an all-round Lift Engineer looking for your next opportunity, we have a range of positions available with leading independent and multinational lift companies.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a variety of lift equipment.
- Attend breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely.
- Complete minor and major repair works.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current industry standards and health & safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate service records and reports.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships on-site.
- Participate in call-out rotas where required.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven experience working on passenger, goods, platform, or commercial lifts.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Good understanding of lift industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable
- LEIA qualifications.
- Experience working on a range of manufacturers including Otis, KONE, Schindler, TK Elevator, Orona, Stannah, and independent equipment.
- Previous experience in repairs, modernisation, or troubleshooting.
