We are looking for a skilled and motivated Lift Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of lift systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and maintain lifts, escalators, and associated equipment
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in a timely manner
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Respond to breakdowns and emergency call-outs
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation
- Liaise with clients and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Lift Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of lift systems, components, and control systems
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent) preferred
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with a range of manufacturers and lift types
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
