If you have spent the last 5+ years mastering complex US risks, navigating policy wordings, and acting as the go-to technical referral point for your peers, you are likely ready for the next step. You don’t need a formal manager title to join us; you just need the technical pedigree, a natural ability to coordinate workloads, and the ambition to formally lead and develop a high-performing team.
What You Will Do
- Managing Technical Team including Performance Review, goal setting etc.
- Production of Open Market slips and endorsements.
- Checking processing transactions and transmission of processing documentation.
- Technical Account Allocation.
- Completing quarterly File Reviews, including completing the actual review, reviewing QA final check including appeal items, communicating team score, sending review summary to account team, following up on Action Points.
- Handling, reviewing and processing bdx for Binders and Lineslips.
- Communicating any Whitespace enhancements and analysing impact of changes for team.
- Pulling outstanding work reports (quotes, endorsements, subjectivities) and distributing to wider team.
- Running reports to ensure the business is on track with agreed KPI's.
- Run bad debt, outstanding premium from client / market reports / payment deadlines / PPW.
- Testing & implementation of any new systems.
- Member of internal MRC Wordings Committee.
- Working closely with MD / Team Leads on annual / monthly budgets.
- Liaising with Offshore Processing team.
- Attendance of client meetings where applicable.
What You Will Bring
- Excellent technical US Casualty knowledge including understanding of various types of wordings.
- Good communication skills.
- Data analysis abilities and reporting.
- Managing the end to end operational technical process from slip preparation; invoicing; bdx management; premium collection; outstanding monies.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to manage and co-ordinate individuals.
- Can build relationships across broking; operations and compliance teams.
- Act as the team’s technical expert for complex risks and processing issues.
- Provide advice, training and guidance to others in the team.
- Experience with system testing, upgrades, process improvement would be helpful with the new system coming in soon.
