We are looking to bolster our SEO function within Marketing to help drive our continued growth. We are looking for an experienced and curious SEO Specialist to join our growing digital team. This role is ideal for a search marketer who understands traditional SEO practices but is excited by the rapid evolution of AI‑driven search, generative SERPs, and emerging AI visibility opportunities.
You’ll work closely with the Lead SEO, our Content team and in‑house PR to support daily search operations, including technical, on‑page, and off‑page SEO. From optimising for search and AI visibility while supporting content distribution strategies. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of SEO, content strategy, and emerging AI technologies.
What will I be doing?
- Implementing SEO improvements across on‑page elements, structured data, and site architecture.
- Optimising content to improve performance in both traditional search and AI‑enhanced discovery channels.
- Maintaining and refining SEO and content processes to ensure best practices are consistently applied.
- Auditing and enhancing structured data and resolving visibility issues as they arise.
- Managing and growing our backlink profile through targeted outreach and relationship building.
- Publishing and optimising content on external platforms to strengthen brand visibility and authority.
- Supporting technical audits focused on maximising site performance in emerging search environments.
What experience do I need?
- Hands‑on SEO experience (agency or in‑house) (minimum criteria).
- Active interest in emerging AI‑driven search experiences and technologies (minimum criteria).
- Familiarity with AI models and tools that support search and content strategies.
- Awareness of current AI‑related search conversations in the SEO community.
- Confident with WordPress, GA4, GSC, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs.
- Comfortable working with schema markup and structured data.
- Excellent communicator who can clearly explain complex technical concepts.
