A well-established firm of chartered accountants and business advisors, we offer a wide range of services, including auditing, accounting, tax and corporate finance. We proudly serve a diverse client base across the UK and internationally, with a strong focus on entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses that share our passion for innovation.

Our Outsourcing department is rapidly evolving and has quadrupled in size over the past two years to meet the needs of its ever-growing portfolio of clients. They typically work with moderately sized firms from a plethora of sectors that require our external expertise to help support them with operating their finance functions. This can be on specific elements, such as data-entry and maintaining their books and records, support with VAT compliance, through to providing them with insightful management accounts. We can also offer a fully outsourced finance solution, which encompasses all aspects of an internal finance function. We have a relationship centric approach and are trusted advisors to clients of all shapes and sizes, but they are typically owner managed businesses, giving you the opportunity to deal directly with the decision makers and to truly help shape the direction of their firm.

As an Outsourcing Manager you will have ownership of the following tasks:

  • Taking ownership for a mixed and demanding portfolio of clients.
  • Managing the delivery of outsourcing assignments to include review of monthly / quarterly management accounting, preparing cash flow reports, budgets and projections, overseeing and review of bookkeeping, review of VAT returns and assisting clients with VAT queries and tax investigations.
  • Acting as the overall engagement manager for some clients, which will include liaising with other teams across the firm to facilitate the delivery of annual accounting and corporation tax compliance, payroll, company secretarial services and other advisory services.
  • Onboarding of new clients, including system set ups and process reviews, advising both new and existing clients on optimum processes and suitable systems to achieve objectives laid out.
  • Managing a team varied in role, from trainee accountants, assistant accountants and management accountants.
  • Being the main contact with your client base, being their ‘go to' advisor and building those relationships.
  • Taking responsibility for fee discussions and billing.

Whilst having the following experience is advantageous, we value passion and potential. If you meet the minimum criteria listed below and are eager to develop yourself, we would love to hear from you:
