The team primarily undertakes audit and other assurance work, along with accounts preparation and tax computations. Our clients range from small not-for-profits to large listed groups, across various sectors. The work offers variety and learning opportunities from talented professionals at all levels. What will I be doing? Managing a portfolio of clients requiring audit (70%) and accounts preparation (30%), with a total fee income of around £300K. Reviewing completed audit files and presenting findings to partners. Supervising and developing junior staff. Handling portfolio WIP, billing, and debtor control. Assisting senior managers with planning, controlling, and reviewing complex assignments. Developing commercial awareness through fee development and cross-selling activities. What experience do I need? While experience is advantageous, we value passion and potential. If you meet the minimum criteria below and are eager to develop, we want to hear from you: A professional accounting qualification – ACA, ICAS, CA, or ACCA. Ability to manage multiple audit engagements and delegate effectively. Knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102 and IFRS. Client-facing experience. Commercial mindset and ability to identify new business opportunities. Experience with audit software (we use Caseware) and Microsoft Office. What’s on offer?
