We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Account Management Executive to join the sales team for a global SaaS tech company and take full ownership of a portfolio of medium-sized customer accounts.
About the Role
You will manage a set of assigned accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. This includes identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products, driving adoption of software solutions, and acting as a trusted advisor for all stakeholders within the customer organisation. Your success will directly impact the business, as we believe our growth is intrinsically tied to our customers’ success.
Key Responsibilities
- Take primary ownership for ensuring growth, satisfaction, and retention within your SMB portfolio.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts to meet upgrade and cross-sell targets.
- Build strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
- Create and execute account plans, coordinating with internal experts to ensure successful delivery.
- Proactively mitigate risks that could impact customer satisfaction, adoption, or renewals.
- Collaborate with customer implementation partners to ensure seamless solution delivery and a trusted three-way partnership.
- Use consultative, solution-selling techniques to demonstrate business value and ROI.
- Strengthen relationships through regular engagement, including face-to-face meetings.
- Forecast and track key account metrics, including renewals, upgrades, and pipeline development.
- Build a base of referenceable customer contacts for future opportunities.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of business development experience in a software or SaaS environment, with at least 2 years in Account Management managing medium-sized companies.
- Experience selling SaaS applications such as CRM, ERP, Accounting, or HRMS is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of growing business from existing customer accounts and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
