Responsibilities

  • Set the pace and standard, keeping service smooth and the team motivated.
  • Lead shifts, support daily operations, and bring hands-on energy throughout the kitchen.
  • Deliver exceptional dishes that embody our Hospitality Magic ethos, while guiding, training, and inspiring the kitchen team.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised kitchen by following food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP policies.
  • Take ownership of kitchen paperwork – temperature checks, cleaning records and compliance logs – ensuring accuracy and accountability.
  • Assist with stock control, portioning and waste reduction to support sustainable, efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to manage service, respond to feedback and continuously improve.
  • Support a positive, respectful kitchen culture where teamwork and celebration go hand in hand.
  • Embrace feedback, develop leadership skills and bring energy and resilience to every shift.
  • Work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver a seamless guest experience.
