The Role
We are looking for a new Commis Chef to join our Brava Hospitality Group Family who can bring great communication skills & team ethos to a premium casual dining environment. Whilst handling key foundational tasks that will ensure the smooth running of the restaurant during busy service between the kitchen and the floor.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages promptly to guests
- Assist waiters and restaurant staff during service
- Maintain and run the kitchen pass efficiently
- Work closely with chefs in an open-plan kitchen environment
- Ensure smooth communication between kitchen and front of house
- Ensure tables are clean and properly set
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Support kitchen and front-of-house operations as needed
Requirements
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not essential
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
- Ability to work well under pressure with the kitchen team
