The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

Due to continued growth, this highly respected law firm is looking to hire Associate level lawyers (circa 5 PQE) to join their personal injury team based in Glasgow.

The responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with clients, third parties and solicitors, keeping clients up to date with the progression of their cases
  • Updating reports and dealing with correspondence
  • Dealing with all types - Fast track and Multi-track cases
  • Reviewing all evidence and establishing prospects of success
  • Reviewing and valuing injury claims
  • Preparing witness statements
  • Drafting Court proceedings
  • Drafting various relevant court documents
  • Reviewing and valuing credit hire and other special damages
  • Complying with court directions
  • Dealing with applications and court hearings
  • Negotiating settlements

Requirements:

  • Solid background in personal injury and ideally with experience of RTA
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A desire to join an ambitious and growing law firm
  • Experience of mentoring junior lawyers would be an advantage but not essential
