Key Responsibilities ensure ongoing equipment calibration, mapping, and functionality. Promote and uphold Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) to ensure accuracy and precision in all activities. Comply with all laboratory policies, including those related to data protection, confidentiality, waste management, and conduct. Manage and validate stock levels; receive and validate deliveries of laboratory consumables and reagents. Deliver training to laboratory personnel within area(s) of expertise. Ensure completion and documentation of all scheduled maintenance, calibration, and servicing tasks. Contribute to general laboratory upkeep, including analyser maintenance, waste disposal, and housekeeping. Handle and dispose of confidential and hazardous waste safely and in accordance with regulations. Shift Pattern The preferred candidate will have the following experience, abilities, and aptitudes: Criteria Essential Qualification Hold a degree in a relevant scientific subject or to have relevant experience. Knowledge and Experience Good knowledge of laboratory practice and experience working in a laboratory environment. Skills Ability to work independently and as part of a group. Efficient, adaptable, methodical and organised, with good attention to detail. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
