About The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Cabin Fitter to join our team. Our vision is to own the future of rentals, and our mission is to deliver a world-class experience. As a Cabin Fitter, you\’ll help us deliver exceptional customer experiences and uphold our values, setting an industry standard.

In this role, you\’ll be part of our Accommodation specialist team, which specializes in renting temporary building systems to meet diverse needs, including anti-vandal green specification accommodation, sleeper units, portable toilets, containers, and more for construction sites and events.

On a daily basis, as a Cabin Fitter, you will maintain, repair, and prepare all types of portable accommodation units for hire. Working under an experienced foreman within a skilled team, you\’ll prepare units to high standards for our clients. Depending on your specific role, your work may be depot-based or a mix of depot and site-based. You will collaborate with colleagues, take pride in your workplace, and ensure high standards are maintained while complying with company procedures and processes.

To succeed as a Cabin Fitter, you should possess the following skills and behaviors:

  • Basic joinery and plumbing skills for preparing portable accommodation units.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and self-motivation, with willingness to undertake training and occasional overnight stays.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to excellent service.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to complete all work to a high standard within tight deadlines.
  • A valid driving license with access to a vehicle, due to depot location.

Additional beneficial skills include:

  • CSCS card for on-site work.
  • Painting and decorating experience.
  • Property maintenance experience.
