Due to business expansion, we are looking for someone to join our fast-paced team as an Assistant Management Accountant. Based at our Support Office in Birchwood, Warrington, you will support the management accounting team with monthly financial statements, reports, journal reconciliations, and cost centre reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Management account preparation
- Provide financial analysis and support to stakeholders
- Assist in monthly P&L production
- Board pack, month-end, and weekly reporting
- Cost allocation journals and analysis
- Manage property-related charges
- Assist in the annual budgeting process

About You
We will support your development, training, and career aspirations. To succeed, you should have:
- Understanding of management and financial accounting
- Part qualification or working towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (desirable)
- Experience in SME or large organisations
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments
- Advanced Excel skills
- Data analysis and reporting experience
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, detail-oriented
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience in a busy office environment
- Property accounting experience (desirable)
