We are looking for a motivated and analytical Intelligence Analyst to join our London-based team, supporting a range of Security and Risk Management (SRM) projects.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Intelligence Analyst, the Intelligence Analyst will support the delivery of intelligence-led services across a broad range of Security and Risk Management projects.

The successful candidate will undertake intelligence collection, research, analysis and reporting, supporting both internal stakeholders and external clients.

The role requires excellent analytical skills, sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to work with sensitive information whilst maintaining the highest professional standards.

Working within a fast-paced environment, you will contribute to intelligence collection plans, produce high-quality written intelligence products, conduct open-source research and collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver timely, accurate and actionable intelligence.

Success in this role will be measured through the quality and timeliness of intelligence outputs, contribution to team objectives, and the delivery of an excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct intelligence collection, research and analysis in support of Security and Risk Management projects.
  • Develop intelligence products including written reports, assessments, briefings and presentations tailored to client requirements.
  • Collect, evaluate and assess information from a wide range of open and commercial sources.
  • Apply structured analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, threats and emerging risks.
  • Support the development and execution of intelligence collection plans against defined client requirements.
  • Produce clear, concise and accurate intelligence reports, incorporating maps, graphics and visualisations where appropriate.
  • Peer review analytical outputs to ensure quality, consistency and accuracy.
  • Deliver intelligence briefings to internal stakeholders and clients where required.
  • Maintain awareness of geopolitical developments, security threats and current affairs relevant to client operations.
  • Ensure compliance with information management, data security and intelligence handling procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across intelligence, operations and commercial teams to support wider business objectives.
  • Develop knowledge of new intelligence tools, analytical methodologies and emerging technologies.
  • Manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality intelligence products within agreed deadlines.
  • Meet internal quality standards and performance KPIs while consistently providing an excellent service to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, innovation and the ongoing development of the Intelligence team.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • Formal intelligence analysis training (e. g. Defence Intelligence Analysis Course (DIAC)) or a recognised degree in Intelligence, Security Studies or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrable experience conducting Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) collection and analysis.
  • Experience producing intelligence reports and analytical assessments for customers or operational stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of the intelligence cycle and intelligence collection methodologies.
  • Experience developing or contributing to intelligence collection plans.
  • Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical thinking and critical reasoning skills.
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good understanding of current affairs, geopolitics and national security issues.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience conducting due diligence or investigative research on individuals and organisations.
  • Experience supporting military, government or law enforcement intelligence operations.
  • Experience delivering verbal intelligence briefings to senior stakeholders or clients.
  • Qualification or formal training in Security and Risk Management.
  • Experience using link analysis software and specialist intelligence databases.
  • Foreign language capability including Russian, Ukrainian, French, Arabic, Spanish or other relevant languages.
  • Experience working within government, defence, security or consultancy environments.
  • Security Clearance (SC/DV) or willingness to undergo clearance.
