PrettyGreen is seeking a Senior Creative Director (Mat Leave) from November 2025 to join our award-winning team.

THE ROLE
We’re looking for a strategically sharp and creatively fearless Senior Creative Director to join our central Studio team on a maternity cover basis. The Studio sits at the heart of our agency, made up of planners and creatives who power bold, culturally relevant work across our three divisions – PR, Influencer, and Experiential – as well as leading creative direction on new business and agency marketing.
This is a key creative leadership role, responsible for developing and directing standout creative that earns attention in the real world and online. You’ll partner closely with planning and client teams to ensure our ideas are insight-driven, creatively brave, and delivered to the highest standard.
Ideally, you’ll bring 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, with a track record of developing work for well-known consumer brands . Experience in earned-first campaigns is a must.
SENIOR CREATIVE DIRECTOR job description:
You are the Senior Creative Director for your clients and in new business pitches, are responsible for senior counsel creative direction for your clients and the agency.
Day to day responsibilities include:
Creative Strategy
- Working in partnership with the planning team to translate a comms strategy into a creative strategy and filter
Creative Concepting
- Directing the creative team to develop / filter creative concepts answering client briefs in line with client’s brand guidelines / objectives
- Culturally in tune. You know exactly what is going on in the world and where your concepts can jump on these cultural trends and zeitgeist moments
Selling Creativity
- Strong presentation writing and direction (New Business & Clients)
- Strong and confident presentation skills – pitching ideas to clients – existing and prospective
- Strong creative briefing skills for creative partners designers, producers, artworkers etc
- Be a creative thought leader for the agency, through profiling, awards judging, commentary etc.
Client Servicing & Campaign delivery
- Client servicing and management around creative delivery / senior creative counsel
- Creative adherence to the A is for All Framework
- Advise on external creative suppliers
Agency Brand & Innovation
- Work with the Brand Director to ensure creative consistency on agency Less Ordinary positioning creative output
Team & Time Management
- Confident managing internal creative delivery teams from conception to completion, giving clear direction & accountabilities
- Understand the commercials and plan your / team time accordingly for profitable delivery – hours / fees / overservicing
