THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Digital PR Senior Account Executive. Your role will support the team in our ambitious plans to scale and grow our Digital PR offering as well as supporting on some non-Digital PR clients, opening the opportunity to learn and grow fast as an all-round PR professional. This is a multi-faceted position that is ideally suited to a flexible, methodical individual. You will be able to work independently and part of a team, supporting with campaign ideas and production. You will be confident in your abilities to pitch creative, innovative, fame-making campaigns and reactives that will earn links and coverage in top tier, as well as relevant niche publications. This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys getting stuck in and seeing projects through from conception to completion.

You will have a wide range of responsibilities including data collection and analysis, writing briefs, press releases, pitches, as well as coming up with, and executing, communication strategies. This role is suited to someone with experience in Digital PR, that is looking to step up and learn more with the support of a talented and an award winning team.

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Finding press office opportunities (incl. reactives)
  • Media relations & delivery of coverage and Digital PR KPIs
  • Coverage monitoring and reporting
  • Client account administration and finance support
  • Supplier and handling house coordination

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivery of daily client work as per agreed retainer and project scopes
  • Monitoring media and social media for breaking stories, trends and opportunities we can activate around
  • Working with the team to come up with creative press office campaign ideas that will garner the interest of the media as well as your clients’ target audiences.
  • Identifying and create valuable reactive and proactive opportunities for clients across various industries.
  • Support with the development and execution of campaigns, working closely with topical experts, designers, data experts and other 3rd parties.
  • Carry out keyword research that will inform your ideas as well as result in impactful onsite content that you will create for your clients’ campaigns.
  • Contribute to the media and pitch strategy for all your clients' campaigns, identifying multiple angles to ensure campaigns work harder.
  • Create media lists that target relevant and high authority sites and build strong relationships with journalists and influencers.
  • Write high quality headlines and press releases that will appeal to journalists.
  • Proficiently use a variety of tools to get the best possible results.
  • Build relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and media connections.
  • Monitor results and provide regular reports and insights to clients and the client teams on PR activities and opportunities.
  • Delivering campaigns and results that meet client expectations.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure our work is having the greatest impact in terms of improving overall organic performance as well as building brand fame.
  • Show clients a solid understanding of SEO and the impact work has on organic performance.
  • Reading the news every morning, taking learnings and sharing findings with the wider team.
  • Contribute to amplifying the agency's Digital PR offering be it through creating award winning campaigns, case studies and writing blogs.
  • Providing administrative support to client teams e.g. writing meeting notes, status reports, coordinating meetings, managing couriers, managing product orders and deliveries, raising supplier POs, tracking of day-to-day expenses allocated to client job numbers.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Proven track record (2+ years) in communications agency delivering media strategies for Digital PR campaigns and press offices.
  • Evidence of contributing to Digital PR creative campaigns that earn high quality links and coverage.
  • A confident communicator that can articulate plans and provide excellent and professional consultancy with clients.
  • A self-starter with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Motivated by creating best-in-class, fame-driving work.
  • Organised, structured and able to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledgeable about updates in the media.
  • Passionate about the evolving media landscape.
  • Experience of working with data, with strong analytical skills.
  • A good understanding of SEO best practice.
  • Experience of using tools such as Buzzstream, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Roxhill or similar.
