THE ROLE
Purpose of the Role: As a Campaign Director, you will lead the planning, direction, and delivery of influencer campaigns, ensuring they meet client objectives, budgets, and KPIs. You will own the development of strategic and creative plans, provide high-level counsel to senior clients, and lead integrated teams to deliver best-in-class work. This role blends leadership, commercial accountability, creativity, operational excellence, and client development.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Leadership & Campaign Excellence: Lead all strategic and creative development for Influence & Advocacy programmes, ensuring plans meet SMART objectives, target audiences, and measurable KPIs.
- Client Leadership: Serve as the senior contact for priority clients, providing counsel, problem-solving issues independently, and building long-term, trusted partnerships.
- Team Leadership & Talent Development: Direct, motivate, and inspire cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-performing campaigns across multiple clients simultaneously.
- Commercial & Financial Ownership: Own all client budgets, scope development, and finance processes, ensuring accuracy, profitability, and achievement of income targets.
- Insights, Measurement & Reporting: Ensure all briefs have clear objectives, defined audiences, and robust measurement frameworks.
- Agency Growth, Marketing & New Business: Contribute to agency client development planning and proactively uncover new opportunities within existing accounts.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Essential: Extensive experience (typically 6+ years) leading influencer or integrated campaigns within communications, PR, or marketing environments.
- Proven ability to direct complex integrated workstreams and teams with minimal support.
- Strong experience in strategic planning across Influence & Advocacy.
- Demonstrable strength in senior client leadership, consultancy, and issue-resolution.
- Deep understanding of influencer marketing, creator ecosystem, emerging platforms, and cultural trends.
- Track record of managing sizeable budgets, scopes, financial processes, and delivering against income targets.
- Experience mentoring and managing teams, fostering growth, and building positive, long-term relationships.
- Confident in developing insight-based measurement frameworks and leading full campaign evaluations.
- Desirable: Experience in earned-first or integrated brand communications.
- Familiarity with social analytics and insights tools.
- Experience contributing to agency marketing, thought leadership, or award submissions.
