THE ROLE

The Account Assistant is responsible for account administration and being an all‑round support to the PR/Comms team. Working closely with the Senior Account Executive and reporting into the Account Director, this role helps to deliver results across a portfolio of clients.

YOUR ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Media relations administration
  • Media relations and support with delivery of coverage KPIs
  • Coverage monitoring and reporting
  • Team administration and finance support
  • Supplier and handling house coordination

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivery of daily client work as per agreed retainer and project scopes
  • Creating media, talent and influencer lists based on a client’s brief
  • Reading the news every morning, taking learnings and sharing findings with the wider team. Joining daily papers call with the team at 8.45am and collating the notes
  • Developing and managing relationships with media
  • Creating PR materials e.g. press releases and briefing documents
  • Attending all relevant press, broadcast events or talks to constantly educate yourself on the latest trends, news and industry information
  • Collating media coverage, social posts and content and developing measurement & evaluation reports using agency tools and within agreed templates
  • Building relationships with junior client contacts
  • Providing administrative support to client teams e.g. writing meeting notes, status reports, coordinating meetings, managing couriers, managing product orders and deliveries, raising supplier POs, tracking of day‑to‑day expenses allocated to client job numbers
  • Taking ownership of the coordination and smooth running of client, team and pitch meetings, including room bookings, refreshments, visitor management and meeting set‑up. Work closely with the HR & Operations team to ensure a professional and welcoming office environment, gradually leading these activities independently and supporting the wider team experience.
