Pretty You

We're looking for an Ecommerce Trading Manager to help shape the future of Pretty You London!

This is a unique opportunity to join a premium fashion and wellness brand at a pivotal stage of growth. Owning the commercial performance of our digital business as we invest behind a new brand direction.

Ecommerce Trading Manager

At Pretty You London, we are entering a new phase of elevated growth—refining our brand, expanding our team, and strengthening our position within the premium fashion and wellness space.

We are seeking an Ecommerce Trading Manager who combines sharp commercial instinct with a genuine feel for product. This is an opportunity to take full ownership of how our digital business trades—what we sell, at what price, at what margin, and through which channel.

If you are energised by owning a number, protecting margin, and growing a business on customer value rather than discount, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

As Ecommerce Trading Manager, you will own the commercial performance of our direct-to-consumer and marketplace channels, leading the trading and promotional plan that sits beneath our brand ambitions.

Working closely with the Managing Director, and alongside our Ecommerce & Marketing Manager, you will translate the brand plan into a trading plan—and hold it to account week by week.

This is both a strategic and hands-on position, suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic, growing business and is motivated by seeing their commercial decisions play out quickly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own weekly and monthly sales and margin performance across our direct-to-consumer and marketplace channels
  • Build and lead the promotional and markdown calendar, working within our brand framework to protect price integrity
  • Own the pricing architecture across channels, ensuring a coherent and elevated brand wherever the customer meets us
  • Manage gross and contribution margin, discount rate, and average order value
  • Own the rolling sales forecast, variance to plan, and the weekly trading rhythm
  • Work with Buying and Operations on stock-to-sell—what to push, what to hold, and what to clear
  • Trade our marketplace partnerships, including John Lewis, covering offers, pricing, stock allocation and channel margin
  • Set the commercial return required from our paid channels, and hold our performance agency to account against it
  • Work with the Ecommerce & Marketing Manager to set the commercial priorities for on-site merchandising and conversion
  • Ensure the trading calendar and the marketing calendar are one plan, not two
  • Champion a culture of commercial rigour, curiosity, and a "can do" and "why not" mindset within a growing team

About You

  • Proven experience in ecommerce trading or growth roles within a premium consumer brand or multi-brand retailer
  • You have carried a commercial number—channel revenue or P&L accountability, rather than contribution to someone else's target
  • Strong commercial fluency across margin, media efficiency, average order value and discount rate, and how each moves the others
  • Experience of promotional and markdown planning within a brand framework, including the discipline to hold price
  • Marketplace trading experience, ideally across platforms such as Mirakl
  • Commercially fluent in Shopify, able to interrogate trading and merchandising data and form a clear view
  • Confident holding an agency to account against a scope of work
  • Advanced Excel, and comfortable building your own analysis
  • A collaborative and proactive mindset, with a passion for building a legacy brand
  • Linnworks or a similar order management system
  • Apparel, homeware, or another multi-size, seasonal category
  • Experience trading against a fixed stock position

Our Culture

At Pretty You London, we value creativity, ambition, and a shared commitment to build the brand. We are a collaborative team with a clear vision to grow thoughtfully and organically—a brand that resonates on a deeper level with our audiences.

This is a rare opportunity to join at a pivotal time, where your commercial decisions will have a tangible impact on the brand's future.
