Nobl menswear complements this with a contemporary twist on classic — minimalist, versatile pieces crafted with a focus on quality, longevity and fit. Together, the brands share a mission to design consciously, inspire confidence, and deliver exceptional customer experiences across every touchpoint.

You will be employed by Pretty Lavish. As part of your role, you will support and perform duties for both Pretty Lavish and Nobl.

Purpose of the Role:

The Ecommerce Manager will drive the online performance of Pretty Lavish and Nobl, owning trading strategy, website optimisation, and customer journey enhancements across both brands.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role combines commercial acumen with digital expertise to deliver revenue growth, optimise conversion, and lead continuous improvements to the Shopify Plus platforms. The role partners closely with Marketing, Buying, Merchandising, and Customer Care teams to ensure all digital activity aligns with brand vision and business objectives.

How the role fits:

The Ecommerce Manager serves as the commercial and performance counterpart to the Marketing leadership team – translating brand campaigns and creative strategy into measurable digital success. Together, these teams drive both storytelling and sales, delivering growth and elevating the customer experience for Pretty Lavish and Nobl.

Key Responsibilities:

E-commerce Trading and Commercial Performance

  • Define, develop, and implement a trading strategy that drives sales, conversion, and profitability across both brands.
  • Lead weekly trading reviews, presenting actionable insights on site performance, traffic sources, product sell-through, and conversion trends.
  • Manage promotional planning and execution in line with campaign calendars and stock positions.
  • Collaborate with Buying and Merchandising to optimise product availability and reduce overstock or markdown risk.
  • Conduct regular competitor and market analysis to ensure pricing, proposition, and onsite experience remain best-in-class.
  • Leverage Swap Commerce and other post-purchase tools to optimise returns processes and conversion from exchanges.

Website Development and Optimisation

  • Manage the day-to-day performance of both Shopify stores, ensuring an exceptional onsite experience.
  • Contribute to the ecommerce roadmap, identifying opportunities for UX, speed, and navigation improvements.
  • Lead CRO initiatives including A/B testing, heat-mapping, and funnel analysis to drive incremental gains in conversion and AOV.
  • Collaborate with development and third-party partners to scope and deliver new functionality.
  • Ensure a best-in-class mobile experience and support continuous improvement of the app environment.
  • Utilise Advanced Commerce to manage on-site product sequencing, personalisation, and automation rules.

Customer Experience and Retention

  • Champion data-driven improvements to the customer journey, from product discovery to checkout.
  • Work with Customer Care to analyse returns and feedback, implementing initiatives that reduce return rates and improve satisfaction.
  • Support the implementation of personalisation and product recommendation tools to enhance engagement and loyalty.
  • Maintain consistent brand standards across content, imagery, and product presentation.

Data, Insight & Reporting

  • Track and analyse key ecommerce KPIs including conversion rate, AOV, LTV, bounce rate, and customer acquisition trends.
  • Produce regular performance reports and insights for senior leadership using tools such as Looker Studio, Google Analytics 4 and other analysis tools.
  • Ensure accurate GA4 tracking and collaborate with marketing agencies on attribution and data integrity.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to evaluate onsite performance of campaign activity and optimise landing experiences.

Collaboration and Team Development

  • Partner with the Head of Marketing to align site trading activity with campaign, brand, and growth objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Buying, Operations, Marketing, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless product launches.
  • Manage relationships with platform partners, developers, and CRO/SEO agencies.
  • Line-manage and develop the E-commerce Executive, supporting their growth and day-to-day execution.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in a direct-to-consumer ecommerce role, ideally within fashion or lifestyle.
  • Strong understanding of Shopify Plus, ecommerce analytics, and trading principles.
  • Demonstrable success in CRO, UX, and onsite optimisation.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Advanced Commerce, Swap Commerce, Looker Studio, Google Analytics 4, Sweet Analytics, and Triple Whale.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Excel and dashboard creation.
