Pretty Lavish continues to emerge within the fashion industry bridging the gap between the high street and designer brands. Recognised for our sophisticated occasionwear, luxury knitwear and more recently our sleek and modern bridesmaids collection. As the journey continues we are looking for a motivated individual to join our passionate team. The assistant will be part of a growing finance team and will have the opportunity to work alongside other departments with their finance requirements. This is a critical role within a small finance team. Suitable applicants will be able to work well under pressure to manage multiple tasks and be extremely organised. It is a very exciting opportunity for someone to enter / progress in an accountancy role within a fast growing company.
Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping of purchase invoices on a weekly basis
- Bank reconciliations of all accounts including petty cash on a weekly basis
- Reconciliation of credit card statements on a monthly basis
- Preparing fortnightly payment run for review
- Analysis of logistics invoices on a weekly basis
- Preparation of manufacturers invoices on a daily basis
- Liaising with internal PL teams as well as third party providers, clients, and suppliers where required
- Assisting with management reporting
- Assisting with compliance reporting
- Assistance with the preparation of performance and cost analysis
- Be the lead partner to the Buying and Logistics team process
- Build relationships with the wider team and stakeholders
- Assistance with day-to-day ad hoc tasks
Profile
- Currently studying towards an AAT qualification or higher
- Retail experience desired
- Experience working in finance functions
- Ability to work in a team
- A self-starter
