What we’re looking for: We’re looking for passionate, curious and analytical team players to bring joy to our customers every day. This is a high‑impact role at the centre of Pret’s transformation, reporting to the Strategy & Transformation Director. Relationship building is a key feature of this role, and it is essential that the new Analyst will be good at forming and maintaining relationships at all levels.
Key responsibilities:
- Own end‑to‑end analysis for transformation initiatives—from problem definition through to insight and recommendation.
- Partner with teams across markets and functions (marketing, operations, people, supply chain, finance, technology etc.) to embed change and drive adoption.
- Facilitate key planning, governance and delivery sessions, ensuring clarity of actions, ownership and follow‑through.
- Produce high‑quality communication materials, including presentations and briefing documents, to clearly articulate insights, recommendations and communications across all our teams.
- Build, maintain and continuously improve performance tracking, including automated dashboards and reporting (e.g. Power BI, Excel models).
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights to support decision‑making at all levels, including the GLT and Board.
- Identify and deliver opportunities for automation, including the use of AI and digital tools (e.g. Copilot, Claude and other LLM‑based solutions).
Experience and Skills required:
- Project management & planning to co‑ordinate & deliver outcomes across cross‑functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguous problems into structured approaches, translating insight into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to confidently engage stakeholders from internal leadership teams through to shop teams, from franchise partners to suppliers.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience facilitating workshops across different functional disciplines & levels of seniority.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to deliver consistently high‑quality outputs.
- Advanced Excel skills, including modelling and scenario analysis & Powerpoint for story telling.
- Experience with data visualisation and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) desired.
- Experience in using AI tools (e.g. Copilot or other LLMs) to enhance productivity, automate tasks and generate insights desired.
- Understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, or similar) and process mapping approaches desired.
