What we’re looking for

We’re looking for passionate team players to bring joy to our customers every day. As an Operations Manager you’ll:

  • Drive Succession: support recruitment and successful onboarding within your area, build robust family trees in your area, drive team happiness by role modelling Pret’s values and behaviours, embrace the Thoughtful Leadership principles (be kind, be honest and be generous), ensure you have the right people in the right place and support your team’s wellbeing by promoting and nurturing a healthy work-life balance.
  • Drive your business: coach and support managers to ensure their teams consistently deliver amazing customer service, ensure your teams consistently deliver delicious food and drink by putting the customer’s needs first and never compromising on quality or safety standards, drive sales and profit through forecasting, rota management, ordering and production, continuously analysing and reviewing your Group’s results proactively reacting to any challenges or obstacles and to have full P&L accountability.
  • Drive and embed change: you will be the ambassador for change, effectively communicating with your team, actively follow up with the team on any new standard or initiative to ensure successful implementation, listen and give constructive feedback and ensure your team is well informed of any business changes or initiatives.

This role is a senior member of our shop teams and will have a number of General Managers reporting into them. The Operations Manager role reports into the Head of Operations. The role is full time (42 hours per week) and will be based in London.
