Prestwick St Nicholas is the world’s 26 th oldest golf club and this year we are celebrating our 175 th anniversary.
Golf has been played at our current location since 1892 and the course offers members and visitors a true links experience with narrow, gorse lined fairways and well protected greens.
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking, motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our links team as a Qualified Greenkeeper.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years greenkeeping experience
- Qualified to at least SVQ Level 3 in Sports Turf or equivalent
- Hold PA1 and PA6 spraying qualifications
- A good working knowledge of turf machinery and routine maintenance
- A good understanding of health and safety legislation
- A keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and time keeping
- A willingness to undertake Continuing Professional Development
- An interest in golf would be preferred
Responsibilities
The applicant must be a team player, enjoy working outside in all weathers and be prepared to work weekends on a rota basis.
