Domestic Assistant – 16 hours per week at Lifestyle Care (Malhotra Group), Eastside Gardens, Wallsend, UK. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and a safe environment in the care home.
Responsibilities
- Ensure daily and weekly rota cleaning tasks are carried out to a high standard.
- Clean dining rooms, lounges, lavatories, and bedrooms.
- Dust and polish furniture and windowsills.
- Comply with infection prevention and control guidelines.
- Restock toiletries, soaps, and towels.
- Maintain professional knowledge and competence.
- Report immediately to the Home Manager or Person in Charge any illness or accident incurred by a resident, colleague, or yourself.
- Understand and respect the privacy and individual needs of residents.
