We are recruiting for an Apprentice Receptionist at our care home, Covent House to provide a welcoming first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and professionals entering the care home. The Apprentice Receptionist supports the smooth day-to-day running of the reception and assists with administrative tasks to ensure high standards of service and confidentiality within the care setting.
Responsibilities
Greet all visitors, residents, and staff in a professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the reception area.
- Ensure all visitors sign in/out in line with care home policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Manage incoming telephone calls.
- Provide refreshments to visitors and guests when required.
- Set up and maintain tidy, professional, and accessible reception and communal areas.
- Assist in booking and preparing meeting rooms for staff and external visitors.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, archiving, and updating records.
- Order and manage stationery and office supplies.
- Handle incoming and outgoing post for the care home.
- Support the Home Manager and other care home staff with administrative duties.
- Drive, establish and maintain our CORE values throughout your team.
