So what's your next change?Our contract at Brize Norton with the MOD states we will provide a continuous service to cover 24 hours, 7 days a week and 365 days a year to the Royal Air Force, to maintain and ensure airworthiness of their fleet of aircraft.You will act as the analytical backbone of our A400M maintenance and engineering operations. By monitoring the fleet's technical health, analysing complex system data, and identifying defect trends, you will drive continuous improvement in the A400M aircraft maintenance program.You will work closely with technicians, the A400M engineering enterprise, and our customer (the RAF) to maximise aircraft availability and reduce operational downtime.HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAMA400M Data Analysis: Collect and analyze maintenance, operational, and defect data across all A400M systems (airframe, avionics, and propulsion) to identify reliability trends and emerging technical issues.Root Cause Analysis: Lead complex engineering investigations into recurring defects and component failures on the platform, developing robust, permanent solutions.Maintenance Optimization: Propose and implement modifications to the approved A400M maintenance program to enhance fleet availability and reduce direct maintenance costs.Reporting: Produce comprehensive platform reliability reports for internal stakeholders, the UK Ministry of Defence, and the customer, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and action plans.Collaboration: Liaise directly with Airbus central engineering in Spain/France, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and on-site maintenance teams to resolve complex in-service issues.ABOUT YOUExperience: Proven background in an aviation maintenance, continuing airworthiness, or reliability engineering role. Experience directly supporting the A400M platform or similar heavy military transport aircraft.We are looking for a highly analytical thinker who combines technical expertise with clear communication skills and a deep understanding of continuing airworthiness.Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Part-M / Part-145 regulations. Direct knowledge of UK Military Aviation Authority (MAA) regulations (MRP 145/CAMO)Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in data analytics and MS Office/Google Workspace.
