Prestonfield House, one of Scotland's most exclusive luxury hotels and holder of the AA's supreme accolade of Five Red Stars, is seeking an experiencedHall Porter to join its dedicated team.
Built in 1687 by the King's architect Sir William Bruce as the private residence of Edinburgh's Lord Provost, Prestonfield today is celebrated for its opulent interiors and historic grandeur. With 18 individually designed bedrooms, 5 luxurious suites, 3 historic private dining rooms, the celebrated Rhubarb restaurant, and the circular Georgian Stables Ballroom, Prestonfield is renowned for its heritage, elegance, and award-winning hospitality.
Our package includes:
- The on-target earning potential for this role is £33,040 per annum, comprising a base salary of £27,040 (based on £13.00 per hour working 40hours per week) plus a substantial share of staff gratuities estimated at £6,000 per annum paid monthy
- Full time permanent contract working 40 hours per week, working 5 days from 7
- Free staff meals and on-site parking
- 28 days holiday rising to 32 after 5 years' service

This position may also require covering Night Porter holidays, therefore experience of working on a self-performance is beneficial however we will provide extensive training and will help you to develop your skills in a nurturing environment.
