Prestonfield House, one of Scotland's most exclusive luxury hotels and holder of the AA's supreme accolade of Five Red Stars, is seeking an experienced Senior Waiter to join its dedicated team. Prestonfield is very proud of its award-winning cellar, providing an opportunity to work and expand your knowledge with a notable collection of wines and our highly regarded head sommelier. We currently hold the AA's Wine Award for Scotland and a rare Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.

Our package includes:

  • The on-target earnings for this role are £35,040 per annum, comprising a base salary of £27,040 per annum (based on a 40-hour working week), plus a share of gratuities estimated at approximately £8,000 per annum, paid monthly.
  • Full time permanent contract working 40 hours per week, working 5 days from 7 including weekends.
  • Free staff meals and on-site parking.
  • 28 days holiday rising to 32 after 5 years' service.

As a Senior Waiter, you will assist our Head Waiters and Management team with restaurant preparation; planning and running your own station, working in both Rhubarb and Private Dining whilst the main focus will be on exceeding our guests' high expectations. Similar experience is beneficial; however, we will provide extensive training and will help you to develop your skills in a nurturing environment.

Candidates should have Scotland Licensing & Social Responsibility Training or will be required to complete Scotland Licensing & Social Responsibility Training during the probationary period.
