Prestonfield House, one of Scotland's most exclusive luxury hotels and holder of the AA's supreme accolade of Five Red Stars, is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join its dedicated team.

Built in 1687 by the King's architect Sir William Bruce as the private residence of Edinburgh's Lord Provost, Prestonfield today is celebrated for its opulent interiors and historic grandeur. With 18 individually designed bedrooms, 5 luxurious suites, 3 historic private dining rooms, the celebrated Rhubarb restaurant, and the circular Georgian Stables Ballroom, Prestonfield is renowned for its heritage, elegance, and award-winning hospitality.

Our package includes:

  • Competitive salary of £33,990 per annum plus a share of the staff gratuities (renumeration package circa £39,990)
  • 48 hours per week, working 4 days per week
  • Free staff meals and free on-site parking
  • 22 days holiday rising to 25 after 5 years' service
  • Paid training and shift breaks

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and enthusiastic brigade, committed to showcasing the very best of Scotland's produce. Ideally, the successful candidate will have recent experience at recognised establishments and possess good organisation and communication skills with the ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Along with our Executive Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef, you will play a key role in maintaining and building the property's already excellent Five Red Star, two AA Rosette reputation and have the desire and determination to climb the career ladder and help take the business to an even higher level.
