Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector (VCFS) Development Co-ordinator

Fixed Term Contract – 2 years

An exciting new opportunity as arisen to support the work of the Council to reduce rough sleeping. We are looking for someone with innovation to build, maintain and embed strong connections with the Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector (VCFS) delivering services to people sleeping rough and those at risk of sleeping rough across the city. The role is key to Preston’s commitment to ending homelessness. The role will provide key opportunities to work with stakeholders to reduce the numbers sleeping rough by facilitating the development, implementation and promotion of co-ordinated and collaborative approaches that prevent rough sleeping and where it does occur, ensure it is rare, brief, and non-recurring.
