Provide expertise and strategic insight into PNECET’s education and skills programmes, including how they support progression, attainment, and employability. Ensure PNECET’s education-related activities are informed by relevant UK education policy, quality frameworks, and emerging best practice.

Support governance and oversight of educational provision, including curricular relevance, inclusivity, standards, achievement outcomes, and safeguarding. Advise on strategic partnerships with schools, colleges, training providers, and employers to expand quality learning pathways.

Contribute to Board discussions on impact measurement, evaluation frameworks, and reporting of education outcomes. Act in the best interests of the charity, putting PNECET’s charitable purposes and beneficiaries first at all times. Act with reasonable care and skill, using personal knowledge, experience, and professional expertise where relevant.

Ensure compliance with the law, Charity Commission guidance, safeguarding requirements, and regulatory frameworks relevant to PNECET’s activities. Ensure the charity is accountable, including oversight of performance, impact, and public benefit reporting.

Work collectively as part of the Board, contributing to balanced decision-making and shared responsibility.
