We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with the necessary ICT skills to work as part of our busy Environmental Health Team, managing a small team that supports the delivery of business inspections, licensing applications, and service requests from the public. As we configure and roll out a new computer database, you will be the lead ICT officer shaping our future service delivery.
You will be responsible for delivering information technology systems-based business support to the Environmental Health and Housing Standards and Improvement Departments, managing a small Business Support Team, providing database and associated support. You will also act as the lead officer and administrator for our database systems and technical management.
Excellent ICT skills, as well as knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, are essential. You should have the ability to communicate technical and strategic concepts to a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences. Experience of managing and developing computer databases, as well as experience in delivering and designing IT solutions, are also essential.
