We are looking for a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician to join our team, working on a wide range of cars and light commercial vehicles. This role involves supporting both external customers and maintaining our internal company fleet.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

Pay: Up to £17.00 per hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out vehicle inspections, servicing, and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Perform major mechanical work including cambelts, clutches, gearboxes, and engine repairs/replacements
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT testing
  • Conduct MOT testing (Class 4, 5, and 7) where qualified
  • Complete job cards accurately and in a timely manner

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

  • Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance
  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Own tools

Desirable:

  • MOT Tester Licence (Class 4/5/7)

Training & Development Opportunities:

  • MOT Tester qualification (if not already held)
  • Hybrid and EV training
  • Progression into HGV maintenance
