The service provides adults with disabilities day opportunities and activities that promote the ethos of lifelong learning and the importance of wellbeing in adult life. The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join the Therapy team working in the service, providing input to a caseload of people with complex speech, language, communication, and dysphagia needs. Speech and Language Therapists within the service play a vital role in lifelong learning and providing specialist services by supporting service users and their families with interventions such as AAC, Intensive Interaction, and Sensory Programmes.
You would become part of an existing, dedicated team of therapists who strive to deliver best practice at all times. With opportunities to shape a service to meet the ever-changing needs of those we support.
We require a qualified and HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6). The successful candidate must have previous experience working with people with complex needs and their families.
The desirable candidate would be specialised in Dysphagia.
