Presto Nursing are currently looking for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to work in Croydon area. This is an ongoing contract to work within a school setting.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist occupational therapy Therapy to our children and young people aged 11 to 19, working collaboratively with the school’s staff to promote our core values of ambition, respect, courage, happiness, and brilliant lives. You will be involved in the development of diverse, effective and innovative approaches to supporting and developing the sensory need, independence and regulation skills of those with complex needs.
Purpose of the Role
- To be responsible for overseeing a caseload of students with complex needs.
- To provide evidence based occupational therapy assessment and intervention to complex students with moderate to severe learning disabilities and neurodiversity.
All students at this school have an EHCP, so experience of working with children with SEND is highly desirable.
Working days would be Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (Term time only)
