Role Overview
E-commerce & Digital Marketing Senior Manager/Lead for Murad UK, you will drive direct-to-consumer growth. You will lead digital marketing strategy, optimise ecommerce performance, and deliver seamless consumer experiences - balancing brand building with performance to achieve ambitious sales and retention goals.
Key Responsibilities
- DTC Strategy and Trading: Define and deliver digital marketing strategies to drive acquisition, retention, and loyalty. Own the DTC trading calendar, campaigns, and promotions to achieve sales targets while protecting brand equity and premium positioning. Optimise the customer journey - from site navigation to checkout - for maximum conversion. Lead the roadmap and ensure key milestones are achieved on time and continuously optimised after launch. Managing Subscribe & Save, Loyalty program and other strategic initiatives.
- Ecommerce and UX: Lead site optimisation to deliver premium consumer experiences. Conduct regular web UX checks (navigation, checkout, new features) to identify improvements. Monitor trends and innovations to keep Murad ahead of ecommerce best practice, maximise retention and drive acquisition.
- Performance Marketing: Manage agencies running paid search and social, ensuring efficient spend and ROI. Oversee full-funnel marketing from awareness to conversion, driving measurable growth. Manage our external freelance looking after affiliates to drive channel’s growth.
- Data, CRM and Reporting: Manage platforms (Klaviyo, Shopify, GA4) to unlock customer insights and improve targeting. Lead CRM initiatives to grow the database, personalise journeys, and boost retention, being familiar with platforms such as Yotpo and RetentionX. Build budgets and forecasts - track KPIs (CVR, AOV, revenue) with weekly and monthly reporting.
- Financial and Technology: Own the DTC P&L and analyse performance metrics and ROI to guide investment decisions. Recommend improvements to the ecommerce technology stack and ensure seamless integrations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the central link across brand, marketing, operations, finance, and customer service. Align stakeholders around ecommerce priorities and ensure smooth execution of initiatives. Lead and support CRM specialist, Web developer and affiliate’s manager.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Digital Marketing or Ecommerce Manager, ideally within DTC.
- Strong grasp of digital strategy, paid media, CRM, website UX, and analytics.
- Skilled in agency management, budget planning, and performance reporting.
- Proficiency with Shopify, Klaviyo (or similar), and analytics tools.
- Excellent communicator with strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical and data-driven, with a track record of delivering growth.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in ecommerce or digital marketing, with success in DTC growth.
