Please note: This role is based in Leeds and will require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. Our client is a global leader in the lottery and gaming sector, with operations and clients all over the world. As part of their continued growth and development, they are looking to recruit an additional member of their insight team. Working closely with the Insights Group to develop meaningful consumer insight throughout Europe, evaluate and develop opportunities and create proposals for the senior leadership team.
Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for collating and evaluating data across the multiple categories that the business operates in, and presenting this in a meaningful format to assist other areas of the business. Your work will have a real impact on company strategy and as such you need to have a solid understanding of how to best use quantitative data that is available to you.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Analysis of global research data, presenting your thoughts and creating proposals for strategy change.
- Creation and presentation of critical business metrics across Europe, assessing and sharing trends that become evident.
- Manage the full life cycle of research projects, including sourcing data, building analysis and bringing your insights to life in a meaningful way, that translates well for senior leadership.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills will be essential in this role.
- Presenting your findings both internally and externally to colleagues and customers alike, using appropriate tools, and tailoring the content to the appropriate audience.
Required experience:
The ideal candidate will have experience of consumer insight, data analysis and/or consumer research. You will need to have demonstrated a hands-on ability to analyze and bring to life large quantities of research data, ensuring accuracy and recognising patterns and trends and delivering this information to colleagues in a meaningful format. Advanced Excel skills are essential for this role. You must be comfortable communicating with and presenting your findings to senior leadership, as well as answering any questions they might have. Strong organisational skills are also essential in this role.
