Our client is the new UK subsidiary of an established and innovative disruptor in the field of diagnostic imaging and nuclear medicine. Their equipment and service has been groundbreaking around the world and they are now ready to launch in the UK followed by the rest of Europe.
To ensure the rapid adoption of their equipment and unique service model we are looking for an experienced individual who has a proven track record of driving market access, bringing new products to market, and has the ability to identify and engage with key decision makers in both the NHS and Private Sector.
Critical elements of the role will include market mapping PET-CT and diagnostic imaging opportunities across Trusts, ICS’s, and cancer alliances as well as identifying early adopter sites and driving relationships with Clinical Directors, procurement teams and senior personnel in the Imaging sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead commercial launch and market entry strategy for diagnostic imaging solutions across the NHS and UK private sectors.
- By understanding the local commissioning and framework access pathways, secure initial NHS contracts.
- Work with the board of directors to develop strategies on how to be included on, and win, suitable tenders as well as creating appropriate pricing models tailored to NHS budgets.
- Build clinical and commercial partnerships supporting long-term growth for managed service or MES models.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that collateral emphasises the key elements of innovation, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
- Maintain a strong and up to date knowledge of competitor offerings, procurement barriers, and NHS capital funding cycles.
- Deliver robust reporting of pipeline and market intelligence to guide the ongoing UK commercial strategy.
It is essential that the ideal candidate is a confident and consultative communicator with the credibility and gravitas to influence executive stakeholders and clinical opinion leaders. You must also be a truly strategic thinker who is creative enough to be comfortable operating in what will initially feel like a startup operation, requiring you to build market presence as the business around you is creating and implementing new systems, processes and infrastructure.
It is also essential that you have a thorough understanding of NHS procurement processes and tendering, as well as integrated care systems (ICS) engagement, and a proven track record of introducing new technologies or suppliers into the NHS market will be extremely advantageous.
If you are passionate about this sector, and want the opportunity to really make a difference to patient outcomes, with not just innovative equipment, but also a groundbreaking service solution alongside it then we want to hear from you.
